Responsibilities
Evaluate and optimize process configurations, facility layouts, material‑handling methods, and operational setups for both new and existing workflows across the organization
Analyze assigned operations to improve physical and systemic efficiency, productivity, and best‑practice adoption using data, KPIs, and inventory/production control techniques
Lead and support cross‑functional projects—including new business implementations, process improvements, RFP participation, and layout/cost comparisons using CAD and simulation tools
Develop labor‑planning tools, time studies, and labor standards while mentoring junior industrial engineers and guiding large‑scale initiatives
Present findings through reports, presentations, and verbal updates; collaborate with warehouse teams to assess current‑state operations and define future‑state solutions with clear ROI
Drive Lean and Six Sigma activities, design complex layouts, leverage BI dashboards and WMS data, ensure continuity of implemented savings, and travel to facilities as needed (30–50%)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Systems, or related Engineering field required; Master’s degree preferred
3PL/Distribution experience required
LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification required, with 2–4 years of experience in process engineering, warehousing, production, or similar environments
Additional experience applying Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies strongly preferred
Proficient with MS Office tools, WMS functions, Six Sigma tools, and CAD/simulation software
Travel (30 – 50%)
