Job Description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize process configurations, facility layouts, material‑handling methods, and operational setups for both new and existing workflows across the organization

• Analyze assigned operations to improve physical and systemic efficiency, productivity, and best‑practice adoption using data, KPIs, and inventory/production control techniques

• Lead and support cross‑functional projects—including new business implementations, process improvements, RFP participation, and layout/cost comparisons using CAD and simulation tools

• Develop labor‑planning tools, time studies, and labor standards while mentoring junior industrial engineers and guiding large‑scale initiatives

• Present findings through reports, presentations, and verbal updates; collaborate with warehouse teams to assess current‑state operations and define future‑state solutions with clear ROI

• Drive Lean and Six Sigma activities, design complex layouts, leverage BI dashboards and WMS data, ensure continuity of implemented savings, and travel to facilities as needed (30–50%)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Systems, or related Engineering field required; Master’s degree preferred

• 3PL/Distribution experience required

• LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification required, with 2–4 years of experience in process engineering, warehousing, production, or similar environments

• Additional experience applying Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies strongly preferred

• Proficient with MS Office tools, WMS functions, Six Sigma tools, and CAD/simulation software

• Travel (30 – 50%)
