Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Lead continuous improvement projects and programs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of program results based on goals.
  • Oversees the collection of process design, time and motion studies and engineering data to drive continual improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and present initiative status and results to management teams.
  • Oversees multiple engineering improvement projects.
  • Partners with the executive leadership team to develop the plan of record roadmap for manufacturing.
  • Interface with customers and business partners on external facing program initiatives.
  • Assessment and set-up of industrial and manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Develop process flow, manage layout changes, work instructions, procedures, and similar document control activities.
  • Performs risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements could be made to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for reviewing safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment is properly meeting guidelines.
  • Experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Guide the completion of projects and conduct technical tasks and/or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others.

Job Specifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or industrial Technology.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience working in a similar work environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experienced user with AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems
  • Effective in time management and delegation.
  • Well versed in Lean Six Sigma (black belt preferred)
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems
  • Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.

Working Conditions

  • Fast paced work environment
  • Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection.

Physical Demands

  • Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity.
  • Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required.
  • Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
