Job Overview:

Custom Marine is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered original equipment and aftermarket stainless steel exhaust headers, exhaust pipes, mufflers, and other marine and industrial components. Our products are used for recreational boats, power generation, military, law enforcement, etc.

Custom Marine is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Neenah, WI facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to clearly relate the manufacturing process via documents, routings, bill of materials, drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience incorporating new or improved manufacturing processes in a cost efficient and effective manner.
  • Experience with understanding the ISO procedure as it relates to the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
  • Experience processing and maintaining all engineering ECN’s.
  • Ability to work with Sales on new opportunities by developing quotes for new product concepts.
  • Ability to positively and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Engineering experience preferably in a metal fabrication and manufacturing environment and willing to look at someone fresh out of college.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and in writing.
  • Experience with 3D Modeling Software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with MRP Software, preferably Syteline.
  • Knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP).
  • Strong experience with MS Office.
