Position Summary:
In this role, the Industrial Engineer act as the bridge between Production Development and Manufacturing Engineering and will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient systems for manufacturing aiming to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes. The IE will analyze production data, design layouts, create jigs, and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and quality. They work across various departments, including design and manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads the commercialization process of entering new products into mass production by taking prototypes approved by Product Development and designing optimized production systems using advanced industrial engineering tools (simulation modeling, workload balancing, Takt time analysis).
- Apply best manufacturing practices to maintain Tuuci's competitive edge by designing optimized production cells and jigs needed for new product launch.
- Ensure processes meet quality standards while reducing waste and production issues.
- Optimize material inventory with Supply Chain team using industrial engineering tools and participate in the make vs. buy decision process during new product launch.
- Collaborate with Production Planning and Quality Control to optimize schedules and specifications.
- Implement technological improvements and cost controls for production processes.
- Work with Manufacturing and Facilities teams to optimize facility layout and workflow.
- Design cost-effective manufacturing layouts for new product lines.
- Identify problems, research solutions, and implement improvements to manufacturing standards.
- Conduct production capacity analysis and provide technical support for plant operations.
- Lead special projects including equipment justification, installation, and efficiency improvements.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial engineering.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, statistical analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Demonstrated strong experience in simulation modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills, self-starter.
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization and across multiple departments.
- Comfortable as an individual contributor with little to no supervision while still able to work well within a team environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required).
