Job Overview:

Industrial Electrician/ PLC Tech

Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m with occasional call in responsibilities and or weekend work.

$34-$36 an hour with a potential increase after 90 day .

SIGN ON BONUS

  • $300 AFTER 90 DAYS!

RETENTION BONUS

  • $600 AFTER 9 MONTHS

We are seeking a talenetd, critical thinking, and experienced** Controls Technician** to join our Real Alloy team at our facility in Loudon, TN. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment, with a focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). You will work with machine brands such as Siemens and Allen Bradley, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong PLC skills and a background in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on industrial automation equipment, with a focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLC programming and wiring
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and implement improvements in automation processes
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot PLC issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
  • PLC wiring experience
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with machine brands such as Siemens and Allen Bradley
  • High School Diploma or GED
