Job Overview:

Industrial Electrician

Job Summary

Install electrical systems and associated electrical components on manufactured equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Install electrical systems and associated electrical components on manufactured equipment.

Assemble, inspect, and test electrical systems, including machine electrical cabinets, junction boxes, and on-machine components.

Complete projects and record material utilized on jobs.

Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.

Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.

Listen and comprehend instructions and directions.

Verify all parts are present prior to performing work.

Verify specifications.

Keep the work area clean.

Record inventory changes sheets as needed.

Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.

Accurately record time on jobs and projects.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.

Strong Work Ethic and Great Attitude required.

Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

5+ years’ experience in the Industrial electrical trade.

Able to work well on a team.

Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

Wiring and building electrical cabinets a plus

Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Valid Driver’s License or Forklift Operator’s License

Physical Requirements

Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Repetitive Motions.

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Troubleshooting CNC Machines
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
