Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship preferred.
- Valid electrician's license or certification in the state of Kentucky.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, and other industrial electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
