Industrial Electrician – Role Overview
Compensation
$41.78/hour
**Sign-On **
Bonus: $4,000 (paid in $1,000 increments at 90, 180, 270, 360 days)
Schedule
Rotating shifts (1st: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 2nd: 3:30 PM–11:30 PM, 3rd: 11:30 PM–7:30 AM)
Primary Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems.
Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, 4–20 mA circuits, variable frequency drives, power generators, transformers, lighting, and servos.
Use computers and software for diagnostics and maintenance.
Read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Bend, pull, terminate wiring, and install conduit.
Work safely under minimum supervision and comply with all safety regulations.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
Strong electrical systems troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Yokogawa DCS systems.
Knowledge of AC/DC drives and motors up to 4160V.
Instrumentation experience (install, maintain, calibrate, repair).
Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7 availability).
Ability to pass a written skills test, drug test, and background check.
Ability to exercise a working knowledge of the theories and practice of electric, electronic, pneumatic, combustion and instrumentation systems, including testing equipment.
Proficiency in electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting 4–20 mA circuits.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
Experience with variable frequency drives, power generators, transformers, lighting, and servos.
Ability to handle air/gas combustion systems.
Training or mentoring other maintenance personnel.
Familiarity with CMMS systems (work order management, spare parts, purchase requisitions).
