We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to work collaboratively within our highly talented and innovative teams. The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for delivering world-class solutions.

  • Identify and help implement solutions for recurring equipment problems
  • Ability to learn new concepts and information using process procedures, manuals and diagrams and PM task instruction sets.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems as required as well as dismantle it to gain access for maintenance and repairs
  • Identify and help implement solutions for recurring equipment problems
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
  • All open positions are shift work with all operators having a fixed 40-hour schedule based on set shift times. The sites current shift schedule is 3 8hr shifts each day (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm, 7am) including weekends and holidays. Additionally, our team members can be required to work overtime and call-in as business needs require.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to assist others as needed and when asked
  • Must be able to use Fork Truck, Man Lift and JLG as required.
  • Required to keep area clean by performing housekeeping as required in plant and shop

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, promote safe work practices, and foster a strong safety culture. Ensuring that all Electrical Codes are being met.
  • Professional, pro-active and self-managing approach to work. Working as a Team Member or Alone to complete projects. Performing quality testing and inspections while making decisions based upon technical documents.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment.

  • Ability to meet the following performance measures: Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools and industrial equipment: Ability to install and program VFD's; Awareness of national, state and local electrical codes and regulations; Able to manipulate Ladder Logic; Must be willing to work overtime including nights, weekends, holidays and shift work; Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.

Required skills, experience and traits:

  • Licensed Master Electrician or equivalent experience
  • Must be willing to work overtime including nights, weekends, holidays, and shift work
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance
  • Use of hand tools above shoulders, under ergonomically stressful conditions, and under application of heavy force by employee
  • Work in elevated positions with hand tools and fall restraint equipment
  • Ability to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to pass pulmonary test that is required prior to wearing respirator or air mask
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders (fixed/portable) with tools when safe to do so.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures

Pay: $28.88 per hour
