Electrician

1st SHIFT/$30-$35/hr/FULL TIME

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, control circuits, and automated machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and support efficient plant operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to complete repairs and installations.
• Work with 480V three-phase power systems, wiring, and conduit installations while following safety standards.
• Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of new machinery and production equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, control circuits, and automated equipment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
