Job Description

You will be the Industrial Electrician for the Electrical Maintenance Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of complex production machinery and electrical systems.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Industrial Electrician you will be responsible for constructing, installing, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production machinery and electrical equipment.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Construct, install, and calibrate control panels, motor starters, and wiring systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues on machinery, robotics, and solar equipment using schematics and testing tools.

  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, generators, transformers, and related components.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on instruments, PLCs, and energy‑management systems.

  • Train and support Electrical Technicians II B and III, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.


Basic Qualifications

Requires comprehensive knowledge of electrical and associated electronic equipment, instruments, machinery, motors and transformers.
Knowledge of the National Electric Code as it pertains to the facility and machineries within the plant
Equivalent to four (4) years of high school plus four (4) years of trades training or on-the-job apprenticeship.
Five (5) years working experience in the electrical industry.

Desired skills

Ingenuity to plan, construct, install, test, modify, repair and maintain a wide variety of electrical and associated electronic equipment when only limited information or general methods are available.
Show initiative to act prudently and decisively during emergencies to avoid damage to equipment and/or facility and prevent production delays.
Show initiative to improvise layout in changing or setting up new systems.

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
