Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team in Connersville, IN, 47331. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our electrical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

  • Valid electrician's license or certification in the state of Indiana.

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial machinery.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.

  • - This position requires a HS Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related work experience or qualified educational training/certification.

    • An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or an Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in a related electrical field is preferred.

    • Must be able to work a

    • Must be able to obtain a Pactiv license to safely operate a fork lift and man lift as business needs dictate.

    • Perform activities using all required PPE and follow Novolex's safe work practices and OSHA regulations, including NFPA 70E.

    • Ability to effectively work with other internal and external resources to troubleshoot equipment or systems.
