Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and manufacturing equipment in a high-speed production environment. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and 480V equipment, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and automated manufacturing equipment.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.

Maintain and support PLC-controlled and VFD-driven systems.

Execute electrical maintenance activities using established maintenance procedures and standards.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.

Utilize Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety protocols.

Identify and report equipment failures, downtime causes, and corrective actions.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve overall plant performance.

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

  • Experience working in manufacturing, food processing, packaging, or production environments.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing and production equipment.

Preferred Skills:

PLC programming and logic modifications.

Industrial automation and controls experience.

Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing equipment.
