Job Overview:

Position Summary

Renfrow Industrial is seeking an experienced and highly organized Electrical Foreman to provide overall field leadership for industrial electrical projects. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple crews and foremen, coordinating with project management, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and serving as the senior on-site authority for electrical operations.

Normal Working Hours

  • Monday through Thursday (typical)
  • Schedule may vary based on project demands
  • Overtime and off-hours coordination as required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision and leadership for electrical field operations
  • Oversee Lead Electricians / Foremen and coordinate manpower across projects
  • Plan, schedule, and sequence work to meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities with project managers and clients
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, MSHA (as applicable), and client requirements
  • Lead jobsite safety culture, conduct audits, and enforce safety standards
  • Monitor productivity, manpower levels, and material needs
  • Resolve field issues, conflicts, and constructability challenges
  • Review drawings, schedules, and change impacts
  • Support quality control, inspections, and turnover documentation
  • Mentor and develop foremen and field leadership personnel
  • Report incidents, near misses, and project risks to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to access all areas of an active construction site
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights as required
  • Ability to walk jobsites for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain situational awareness in active industrial environments

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician preferred where applicable
  • 10+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
  • 5+ years of foreman or superintendent-level leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, construction sequencing, and safety regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interface with clients, inspectors, and project management
  • Valid driver’s license required

Minimum Required Tools

  • Standard personal hand tools as required for field oversight
  • Basic supervisory tools for documentation, layout review, and planning

Specialized tools, testing equipment, technology, and vehicles required for the role will be provided by Renfrow Industrial as applicable.
