Job Description

We’re searching for an Industrial Electrician, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You'll also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of basic electrical installation

• Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center

• Bending and sizing conduit, sizing of wire

• Interprets current NEC codes

• Interprets shop drawings

• Participates in the required safety program and work in a safe manner

• Additional duties assigned by the manager

**Skills & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Specific industry experience desired or an equivalent college degree

• State certification is preferred

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman in either commercial or residential electrical work

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Two-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred

• Transformer installations

• Basic troubleshooting

• Circuitry installation

• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics

Industry Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installation work

• Experience in commercial environments preferred; industrial experience acceptable

• Must have experience with:

  • Installing conduit

  • Installing and wiring electrical panels
