About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing and industrial processes. The successful candidate will be a champion of continuous improvement, utilizing methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce costs in a hands-on, industrial setting. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead change across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Initiate, manage, and execute continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (DMAIC/DMADV), and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to achieve measurable business results (safety, quality, delivery, cost).
- Process Analysis & Mapping: Conduct detailed workflow analysis and value stream mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks, waste (Muda), constraints, and non-value-added steps in production, supply chain, and administrative processes.
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to quantify opportunities, establish baselines, and validate improvements. Utilize statistical tools to solve complex problems and ensure sustainable solutions.
- Project Management: Manage a portfolio of continuous improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and deliver the intended benefits.
- Training & Mentorship: Develop and deliver training on CI tools and concepts (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, SPC) to build a culture of continuous improvement and empower frontline employees.
- Standardization: Develop, document, and implement Standard Work and best practices across the facility to ensure consistency and sustain improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to implement changes and embed continuous improvement practices into daily routines, especially within the industrial environments.
