 Industrial Chiller Technician

Why You Are Needed:

As our Field Technician, you will be responsible for local diagnostic troubleshooting on site and also over the phone with tech support, controls programming, maintenance, Start and Test and all aspects of repair on JTS manufactured Thermal equipment. This position will require occasional out of state travel. Field experience in Industrial Refrigeration, knowledge of control systems and solid communications skills are required.

 

You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams and play a key roll in future product development.

What You Will Need to Succeed: 

Education: High School Diploma/GED required and possess a valid driver’s license. 

2-3 years’ experience working on commercial chillers, great diagnostic and repair skills, and have a detailed understanding of control functions and programming.

  • Have 5-10 years HVAC related and/or Chiller maintenance and repair experience.
  • Refrigeration 608 license preferred.
  • Skilled brazing is required.
  • Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.
  • Strong skill in modern refrigeration systems & controls is needed.
  • Occasional overnight travel required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair new equipment.
  • Must be able to respond to customer’s technical call and assist with over the phone troubleshooting.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Possess a positive attitude, with a desire to take care of our customers and their equipment and represent the company at the highest level.
  • Excellent customer communications skills are a must.
  • Be able to lift at least 25-50lbs frequently and up to 75-100lbs occasionally.
