Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Blaster Painter to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing surfaces for painting and applying coatings industrial concrete or metal structures. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing existing coatings as needed.
• Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from surfaces.
• Mix and apply paint, primers, and other coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in painting or blasting is a plus.
• Proven experience as an industrial blaster painter or similar role.
• Familiarity with various blasting and painting techniques and equipment.
• Experience working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting.
