$18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule
This is a
full-time position working 6 days per week, including weekends. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Position Summary
The
Machine Operator / Technician
is responsible for operating and monitoring production machines in an industrial beverage manufacturing environment. This position helps keep the production line running safely, efficiently, and according to quality and food safety standards.
The right candidate must be
reliable, safety-focused, willing to learn, and able to work a 6-day schedule, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities
The Machine Operator / Technician will:
- Operate production equipment safely and correctly.
- Monitor machines during production to make sure they are running properly.
- Make basic machine adjustments when needed.
- Check for product defects, jams, leaks, or equipment issues.
- Report machine problems to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Support line start-up, shut-down, cleaning, and changeovers.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and safety rules.
- Complete production paperwork or system entries accurately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and team members.
- Help meet production goals while maintaining safety and product quality.
- Follow attendance, overtime, and weekend work expectations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous machine operating, production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in beverage, food, packaging, or industrial production is a plus.
- Basic mechanical understanding or willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work
6 days per week, including weekends.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
Preferred Experience
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with fillers, labelers, packers, palletizers, conveyors, or similar equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position may require the employee to:
- Stand and walk for long periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
- Work around moving machines, noise, and production materials.
- Wear required PPE.
- Work in hot, cold, wet, or fast-moving production areas.
