Express Employment Professionals is seeking an **Industrial Automation Technician **for a local Omaha company!

Position Details:

· Type: Evaluation Hire and Direct Hire

· Schedule: All shifts available

· Location: Omaha, NE

· Pay/Salary: Up to $35/hr

Job Duties:

· Perform preventative maintenance, new installations, and mechanical and electrical repairs on all facility equipment including robotics, PLCs, conveyors, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, variable frequency drives (VFD's) and more.

· Be on call for general break downs in the plant, ranging from welding machines through to facility issues

· Ensuring fast reaction & responses to repair calls and equipment breakdowns and timely repairs to minimize downtime

· Conducting special studies to improve departmental services, production efficiencies, and satisfying internal and external requirements

· Developing an on hand spare parts/inventory for maintenance

· Developing and controlling a preventative maintenance program to ensure on time PM as well as part availability

· Maintaining positive employee relations by providing a people-oriented work environment designed to motivate employees

Requirements:

· 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance and automation

· Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems

· Be able to work in a team, operate under deadlines, and be self-starters

· Ability to read schematics, blueprints and ladder logic.

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly and safely

· Steel toed boots or shoes required for some positions
