Job Overview:

This position is for an** Assembler **and requires *manufacturing industry* experience, specifically in mechanical assembly and wire routing.

We are looking for Electrical Assemblers to join our teams. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.

Shift Hours:

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Hourly Rate: $20.36 + $1.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift

Please Note: 2nd shift** **training will be done on 1st shift (one to two months) prior to being moved to the 2nd shift

Who this role is ideal for:

This role is a great fit if your background includes:

  • electrical assembly, panel wiring, switchgear/switchboard manufacturing, or electro-mechanical assembly in an industrial/OEM environment.

This role is not focused on:

  • Residential or commercial construction electrician work, or low-voltage cabling (data/telecom) without panel wiring experience.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
  • 1+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring
  • Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery-operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances
  • Associates Degree or technical training in area of responsibility
  • Proven record in Quality and Productivity

You'll make an impact by:

  • Perform sub-assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques.
  • Work with large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assemble components on panels per layouts or drawings.
  • Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
  • Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve.
  • Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
