Inbound Quality Inspector

The Inbound Quality Inspector is a detail-oriented person who will focus on inspecting and auditing inbound parts and inventory, ensuring that all received items meet XeteX’s quality standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability of our HVAC products. 


Job Duties: 


Primary Focus:    

o Champion all safety guidelines and quality control procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

o Conduct inspections on inbound parts, materials, and inventory upon arrival to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and purchase order requirements.

o Perform quality audits and checks, assessing items for defects, irregularities, or other issues that may impact performance or production including: In-process quality checks for press brake/formed parts to drive higher quality, Verify BOM, Print, and PO’s align, Assist with final inspection of all units, Panel room final inspections, Unit testing secondary sign off, and Foaming/Door spot checks for concave and short shot parts 

o Use measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure components meet specifications (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

o Document inspection results, report non-conforming materials, and communicate any quality concerns to the Purchasing and Production teams.

o Maintain and organize inspection records and assist in developing inspection processes and protocols to improve efficiency.



Requirements

  

· High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or vocational training preferred.

· 3+ years of experience in quality control or inspection, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection techniques, with the ability to use standard inspection equipment.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.

· Basic Microsoft Office computer skills, including experience with data entry.

· Good communication skills, with the ability to report and explain findings clearly both verbally and in writing

· Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality objectives.
