Position Summary
The Imprinting Operator is responsible for producing high-quality customized products by applying customer logos and artwork through screen printing, pad printing, heat transfer, and related imprinting processes. This role ensures customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards while maintaining production schedules and a safe work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Review production travelers and work orders to determine job specifications, imprint requirements, and production priorities.
- Verify that the correct materials, products, quantities, artwork, and supplies are staged and available before beginning production.
- Ensure proper ink colors, screens, plates, and equipment settings are selected and prepared according to customer specifications.
- Set up and operate screen printing, pad printing, heat transfer, and other customization equipment as required.
- Mix, match, and adjust inks to achieve accurate color consistency and print quality.
- Perform manual and machine-assisted imprinting processes while maintaining consistent production standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues related to equipment, materials, inks, or print quality.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to verify clarity, color accuracy, placement, and conformance to customer requirements.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Clean, maintain, and prepare printing equipment and workstations between jobs.
- Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and quality control standards.
- Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.

- Commercial screen-printing or manufacturing machine operator experience required.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for handling, positioning, and operating equipment.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and stretching.
- Occasional climbing or balancing as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing in a production environment.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to printing equipment, inks, and related materials.
- Requires adherence to established safety practices and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
