Machine Operator – Job Description

Ice Cream Specialties is looking for a full-time machine operator.  This shift would be Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm (with occasional mandatory Saturday shifts).

This would be at our facility located at 8419 Hanley Industrial Court, St. Louis, MO 63144.  

This position pays $25.60 - $26.60 per hour with a 60-cent shift differential between the hours of 3 pm and 7 am.

General Duties:

                Operate any machine in the building

                Operate freezer on the production floor

  Operate fruit feeders

                Make up pop mixes

                Set up machines on the floor for production

                Keep work areas clean and free of clutter and debris

                Responsible for machine efficiency

                Responsible for team breaks

                Responsible for:

                                Production weights and records

                                Product displacement

                                Product counts and records

                Checking and ensuring proper code dates  

  Have Chemical Safety Training before handling chemicals

  Have attended GMP, HACCP and Allergen Training

  Have met all requirements of the SQF Program

  Comply with all GMP requirements

  Comply with all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment as defined by the appropriate plant procedures

  Comply with all Safety Rules and Policies

  Any other skilled jobs pertaining to the machine operator position
