Requirements

  

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete work orders by reviewing work instructions, bills of material, and organizing picked parts and required tools.
  • Assemble hydraulic power units and subassemblies according to schematics, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Measure, position, and align components using tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and steel rules.
  • Fasten components and subassemblies to required industry specifications and build standards.
  • Verify assembled units by comparing completed builds to schematics and prints prior to testing.
  • Document pressures, measurements, and other build data as required.
  • Identify non-conforming parts and communicate issues to the quality team for disposition.
  • Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment required to complete assembly work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in paint, production, and test areas.
  • Communicate part shortages, tool needs, and product issues to supervisors.
  • Assist with painting, crating, and final preparation of units when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Tube bending (hand and powered).
  • MIG and TIG welding.
  • Basic electrical wiring.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Paint booth or industrial painting experience.
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics and layout builds with guidance from engineers or experienced team members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot product issues and perform basic repairs.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience maintaining tools and equipment, including preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
