**HVL Laser Operator

**

Husqvarna Construction | Columbia, South Carolina

Build products that perform. Join our high-volume manufacturing team and help produce segmented diamond blades used by professionals. You’ll operate automated equipment, complete quality checks, and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Choose Your Shift

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30–11:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate radius-grinding, laser-welding, sharpening, and exposure-grinding equipment.
• Select tooling, adjust machine parameters, and prepare equipment for production orders.
• Inspect segments, welds, and finished blades using micrometers, gauges, torque testing, and visual checks.
• Record quality and production data and partner with Quality Control when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong basic math skills and familiarity with metric measurements.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes accurately.
• A dependable, team-focused approach.
• Experience with CNC equipment, micrometers, torque wrenches, laser welding, or diamond-tool manufacturing is preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

This role requires standing and walking on concrete for a full shift, frequently lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, and working around metal components, dust, grime, and sharp edges while wearing required PPE.
