This opportunity offers a chance to develop your career in a dynamic environment with ample growth potential.Why Consider This Opportunity:Enjoy a four-day workweek.Receive a 10% shift differential for working the 2nd shift.Start your shift at 2 PM and avoid rush-hour traffic.Access to an on-site training facility to enhance your career development.All necessary tools are provided.Work in a climate-controlled facility, ensuring comfort year-round.Benefit from a generous $5,000 sign-on bonus.Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday – ThursdayKey Responsibilities:Conduct laboratory testing in line with standard procedures and ISO 17025 standards.Perform scheduled instrument checks and facility maintenance.Set up and operate complex lab equipment and instruments.Identify and report any nonconformities or unusual testing conditions.Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to standards, policies, and procedures.Stay informed about safety policies and regulations to ensure safe practices.Communicate effectively with laboratory and project teams.Obtain necessary training or certifications for equipment operation.Document testing activities as per laboratory procedures.Continuously seek to improve laboratory activities and implement corrective/preventative actions.Analyze, troubleshoot, and make repairs to test units and facilities.Provide guidance and training to other technicians as needed.Qualifications:Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or related experience.Experience in a mechanical test lab or field service is preferred.Preferred certifications: Fork truck, Man lift training/license, Universal card, or R410a card.Previous mentorship experience is a plus.Benefits:Various medical insurance options, plus dental and vision coverage.401K plan with generous employer matching contributions.Company-provided life insurance with options for additional coverage.Short-term and long-term disability coverage.Three weeks of paid time off for new employees, along with 11 company-paid holidays.Vacation accrual based on applicable laws.Paid sick time as per legal requirements.Paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after six months of service.Physical Requirements:The role requires regularly lifting and moving up to 10 pounds and frequently lifting and moving up to 35 pounds.
