Reputable HVAC companies across the Flathead Valley are hiring for multiple HVAC Technician, HVAC Installer, HVAC Service Technician, HVAC Maintenance Technician, HVAC-R Technician, and Senior HVAC Technician positions. Opportunities are available for entry-level candidates, experienced technicians, installers, and senior-level HVAC professionals.
These positions offer hands-on work with residential and commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC-R systems, along with opportunities for training, career growth, and long-term employment. Depending on the position and experience level, responsibilities may include installation, service, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, system commissioning, and customer service.

What You’ll Do
- Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and commission heating, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC-R systems
- Work with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, efficiency, and equipment performance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and system evaluations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation specifications
- Perform electrical testing and repair of controls, motors, thermostats, sensors, capacitors, and other components
- Handle refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging as applicable
- Coordinate materials, equipment, schedules, and job readiness for installations and service work
- Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, timecards, change orders, and work orders
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, contractors, subcontractors, and team members
- Ensure work meets applicable building codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements
- Maintain clean, organized work vehicles and job sites while following established safety procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
- Experienced candidates should have 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience
- Senior-level opportunities may require 8+ years of HVAC experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and components
- EPA Section 608 certification preferred or required for applicable positions
- NATE, Journeyman, OSHA, or other HVAC certifications are a plus
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical/manual work
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic hand tools required for applicable positions
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations and travel as needed for certain positions
