Job Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and experienced HVAC Technician to join their growing team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing residential heating and cooling systems, with occasional light commercial work. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Type:

Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay:

$25.00 - $45.00/hour, depending on experience and certifications

Tasks:

• Perform residential HVAC service, repair, maintenance, and installation work (primary focus)

• Diagnose and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

• Install new HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-split systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal service calls

• Complete emergency service calls as needed to restore customer comfort and system functionality

• Assist with light commercial HVAC service, repair, and installation projects as needed

• Inspect equipment and identify necessary repairs or replacements

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers

• Complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in a clean and organized manner

Qualifications:

• Previous HVAC service, installation, and repair experience required

• Residential HVAC experience required

• Commercial HVAC experience is a plus but not required

• EPA Certification preferred

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments

• Ability to respond professionally to emergency service situations and after-hours calls when scheduled for on-call duty (One weekend monthly)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday - 7AM to 4PM

• Technicians remain on duty until all scheduled service calls are completed

• Overtime opportunities available
