Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused HVAC Technician to join our team in Benton Harbor. This position combines hands-on service work with sales opportunities, allowing you to use your technical expertise while recommending solutions that enhance comfort, efficiency, and safety for our customers. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, a professional demeanor, and at least 2 years of HVAC service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Perform seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for system upgrades, replacements, and add-on products.
  • Present service options, quotes, and financing (if applicable) in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
  • Install replacement parts and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and customer notes.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards.
  • Maintain company truck, tools, and equipment in clean, working order.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable HVAC service experience.
  • HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and customer communication skills.
  • Ability to upsell or recommend solutions based on customer needs.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
