Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on HVAC equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment risks
• Service air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and heating systems
• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC equipment
• Complete warranty and emergency repair work as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and daily work logs
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and customer requirements
• Respond to customer questions and provide excellent service

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut HVAC License required (D-2 or S-2)
• Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC experience
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems
• Working knowledge of boiler systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Valid driver's license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to participate in a bi-weekly on-call rotation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely handle heavier equipment when needed
