HVAC Service Technician

Earning Potential: $80,000 to $100,000+ per year

Base Pay: $30 to $40 per hour + Overtime + Performance Bonuses

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems

• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigeration, gas furnace, and heat pump issues

• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune ups

• Service split systems, package units, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and condensers

• Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, evacuations, and startups

• Educate homeowners on repair options and system recommendations

• Complete service tickets and required paperwork accurately

• Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle and appearance

• Follow EPA, safety, and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred

• EPA Certification required

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

• Experience with residential heating and cooling systems

• Understanding of airflow, static pressure, superheat, and subcooling

• Strong customer communication and relationship building skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule efficiently

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred Experience

• Gas furnace diagnostics

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Refrigeration cycle knowledge

• Low voltage controls

• Customer facing residential service experience

• ServiceTitan or related dispatch software experience is a plus
