A leading commercial HVAC mechanical company serving Central and Northern New Jersey is hiring an HVAC Service Manager to run its commercial HVAC service department. The company is stable, non-union and growing fast, and it intends to grow the service department aggressively.

You would lead a team of 25 HVAC service technicians and own the department's scheduling, budget and results, with a seat at the table on how the business grows.

What you would do

• Run the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of service, warranty and emergency jobs
• Build the department budget and hit revenue and gross margin targets
• Work with customers, vendors, suppliers and technicians to carry out plans and programs
• Run the monthly financial review, report results to management and take corrective action
• Manage department assets, including inventory and service vehicles
• Build a high-performance culture through annual reviews and development plans
• Supervise, train and develop all 25 branch HVAC service technicians

What you need

• 4 to 5+ years leading and growing a commercial HVAC service department
• Commercial or industrial HVAC service management experience
• Experience building and managing a department budget
• A stable work history and a proven record of results
• Non-union background
• Live in New Jersey and able to commute to Fairfield every day

• $125,000 to $175,000 base, plus a bonus
