HVAC Project Superintendent

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000/year + Company Vehicle & Gas Card

Position Overview

A premier mechanical contractor in Corona, NY, is seeking an HVAC Project Superintendent (or Senior Lead Technician ready for full field leadership). This position is ideal for a hands-on technical expert looking to manage job sites, oversee field crews, and drive project execution while expanding their project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee site installations, routine maintenance, and complex troubleshooting on HVAC systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to solve complex field issues.
• Manage daily job logs, project documentation, and work tickets via mobile service apps.
• Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and subcontractors to keep jobs on schedule.
• Lead daily site safety, enforce OSHA compliance, and manage local NYC code requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–7+ years in commercial/residential HVAC field service or technical supervision.
• Mandatory Certifications: Active FDNY F-60 & G-60, OSHA 40 or 62, and EPA 608.
• Technical Skills: Strong blueprint reading, diagnostic troubleshooting, and field app proficiency.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, communicate effectively, and lead job sites.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
