Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to execute HVAC projects.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.
Resource Management
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services for HVAC installations.
- Track inventory and manage suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of resources.
- Monitor labor and resource usage to stay within the project’s budget.
Budget and Financial Management
- Develop and manage project budgets and ensure that the project stays within financial parameters.
- Report and walk through monthly cost / WIP reports with the business President.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Inspect HVAC installations to ensure they meet design specifications, codes, and standards.
- Ensure timely resolution of any design or installation issues that arise during the project.
Post-Project Handover
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage project close-out, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC project management experience. No chilled water experience required; however, DX, basic HVAC controls and a full understanding of mechanical design is required. Experience in mechanical take-offs and material/equipment acquisition required.
- VRF Systems and experience in Education, Healthcare, and/or industrial markets preferred.
- Experience using all Microsoft 365 applications.
- Blue Beam or PDF editing software (equivalent) experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment consisting of several project administrative staff employees.
- Oversee 3-7 projects at a time depending on contract value.
