HVAC Mechanic-$1000 Sign on Bonus

Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our team on commercial projects throughout Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on HVAC experience, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain HVAC systems. Candidates must possess the required Connecticut license and be committed to maintaining the highest safety and workmanship standards.

Location:Stamford, CT

Pay:

• D1, D2, D3, or D4 License:$35.00–$40.00 per hour
• SM2 License: $45.00–$50.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues quickly and accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and associated components.
• Ensure all work complies with Connecticut building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC mechanic experience.
• Valid Connecticut D1, D2, D3, or D4 HVAC LicenseorSM2 License required.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
