Job Overview:

HVAC Maintenance Technician

Pay: $28.00-$35.00/hr

We are seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general facility systems while ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair facility equipment, motors, pumps, conveyors, and production support systems
  • Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and repair documentation accurately and on time
  • Perform repairs on lighting, electrical components, outlets, switches, and building infrastructure
  • Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and machinery
  • Support HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and industrial cooling systems as needed
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, safety concerns, and potential equipment failures
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects
  • Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and an organized maintenance workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and company policies

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of maintenance, construction, or mechanical experience
  • Experience with power tools and general repair work
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (150 lbs. with assistance)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school experience preferred
  • HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and flexibility for occasional on-call needs
