Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team in Maryville, Illinois. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and indoor air quality systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ventilation systems.
  • Remove and replace existing HVAC systems in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and related components.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and installation instructions.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Test and verify system performance after installation.
  • Maintain accurate installation records, job documentation, and material usage reports.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding installation procedures and system operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Collaborate with service technicians, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined areas.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred

  • EPA Section 608 Certification.
  • HVAC certification from an accredited trade school.
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation.
  • NATE Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
