- Current North Carolina H3-I (Heating Group 3 Class I) License required
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Previous experience supervising or managing installation teams
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and code requirements
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred
Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the residential HVAC installation department
- Schedule and assign installation crews for maximum efficiency
- Ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes
- Conduct job site inspections and quality assurance checks
- Train, coach, and mentor installation technicians
- Monitor labor productivity and installation performance
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, permitting, and service departments
- Manage installation inventory, equipment, and materials
- Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Review completed jobs for quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding installation personnel
- Track department KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
