Job Description

• Current North Carolina H3-I (Heating Group 3 Class I) License required
• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Previous experience supervising or managing installation teams
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and code requirements
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical plans
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred

Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the residential HVAC installation department

• Schedule and assign installation crews for maximum efficiency
• Ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes
• Conduct job site inspections and quality assurance checks
• Train, coach, and mentor installation technicians
• Monitor labor productivity and installation performance
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, permitting, and service departments
• Manage installation inventory, equipment, and materials
• Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Review completed jobs for quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding installation personnel
• Track department KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
