We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Building Automation / Controls Technician to oversee the service, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of HVAC related Building Automation Systems (BAS) for installations and our existing systems. The Service Controls Technician will perform service work including testing and troubleshooting for our existing systems, help our other technicians troubleshoot problems, and assist in commissioning and quality control for new installations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs service calls of low voltage communication and power wiring systems including troubleshooting, manipulating program, and testing.
- Performs end-to-end testing, starting up, commissioning and servicing on assigned projects and service calls, including wiring and control panels of these systems
- Analyzes, diagnoses and repairs building automation control systems at customer’s location
- Provides installation of Building Automation Systems including electrical, end-to-end checks, startup and commissioning
- May also assist Building Automation Install Crew with duties related to installing and when needed, repairing DDC and pneumatic building controls, sensors, dampers, actuators and related wires and lines
- Work associated with control devices, fixtures and equipment for a variety of commercial and industrial uses, primarily in the smart building control and lighting segments of the automation industry.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Controls / BAS service experience includimg. Experience in BAC Net or IT / Network is helpful.
- Familiarization with leading OEMs (e.g. Honeywell, Johnson Controls).
- Experience using all Microsoft 365 applications.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment consisting of helping other technicians troubleshoot issues and self performing service calls.
- Regular travel is required with the flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary
- This is not a seasonal position; it is permanent and full-time. Wage will be based on experience and discussed during the interview.
- Applicant must have a clean AZ Driver's license and be drug free.
