Summary
The Human Resources Intern provides administrative assistance for the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Coordinates, orders, organizes and assist with delivery of all company swag/gifts
- Coordinates, orders, organizes all company cookouts/luncheons
- Updates all bulletin boards
- Updates electronic communication
- Assist with scheduling various trainings/tracks paperwork
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assists the Human Resources department with recruiting needs – process requisitions, post internal job openings, monitor third party recruiting websites (Indeed, Milwaukee Jobs, etc.), communicate application status, and schedule in-person interviews.
- Assists Reception with monthly communication (Anniversaries, Birthdays, and Events). Coordinates employee gifts associated with Anniversaries as needed.
- Prepares flyers and correspondence for department.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Two to three years of related experience preferred
Other Skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Time management skills: Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks
- Bilingual Spanish-English highly preferred.
- Able to work well within a team, as well as work independently on projects
