They are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support a dynamic production environment and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organization.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in supporting daily HR operations within a manufacturing setting. This individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, support engagement initiatives, and drive effective workforce practices.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company goals
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives
Oversee payroll administration and processing
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, reporting, and documentation
Administer benefits and compensation programs in compliance with applicable regulations
Maintain personnel files and support the implementation of HR best practices
Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies
Administer workers’ compensation and company 401(k) programs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to work onsite in office 5 days a week
SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
