Job description:
Leading local automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team. Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and meet the changing needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support to the HR Director, management, supervisors, and associates.
- Exercises positive employee relations and exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality to maintain the integrity of the HR department.
- Assists managers and supervisors with employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and corrective actions.
- Recruitment - Recruits and manages onboarding process including advertising, screening, interviewing, pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation.
- Manages open positions in Kronos, internal job bids, and other HR duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from a 4 year college or university (3 years of related work experience or training, or an equivalent combination or education and experience.)
- PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Sound judgement and problem solving ability with strong relationship building skills.
- Experience with Kronos or similar HRIS
- Excellent computer skills required
- Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
