Leading local automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team. Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and meet the changing needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide HR support to the HR Director, management, supervisors, and associates.
• Exercises positive employee relations and exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality to maintain the integrity of the HR department.
• Assists managers and supervisors with employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Recruitment - Recruits and manages onboarding process including advertising, screening, interviewing, pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation.
• Manages open positions in Kronos, internal job bids, and other HR duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree from a 4 year college or university (3 years of related work experience or training, or an equivalent combination or education and experience.)
• PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Sound judgement and problem solving ability with strong relationship building skills.
• Experience with Kronos or similar HRIS
• Excellent computer skills required
• Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience:

• Manufacturing Human resources: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)
• SHRM Certified Professional (Preferred)
