As a Human resources Generalist, you wil implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.

Responsibilities

Essential Jobs and Responsibilities

    • Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action.
    • Facilitates on-boarding process for new hires and creates plans to ensure new hire retention.
    • Maintains, updates and ensures accuracy of information in the Human Resources and Payroll systems (Infinium)
    • Manages department programs according to guidelines as it applies to each department.
    • Manages FMLA program within established department.
    • Completes special projects as established by the Human Resources Manager by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and developing and organizing information and fulfilling transactions.
    • Other duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law is required, along with proven ability to apply that knowledge.
  • Proven skills: Performance Management, Training Management, Resolving Conflict.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must possess ability to maintain confidentiality, have a strong work ethic, and be self-motivated.
  • Must be willing/able to work a flexible schedule when required to support the plant.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated Human Resources experience.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.

Work Environment

Food Safety and GMP manufacturing environment, but day-to-day environment is office. Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk and hear throughout an 8-hour day. Occasionally required to lift and carry materials, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl. Willingness/ability to go to the production floor when needed.
