About this Opportunity:
The HR Generalist is responsible for handling all HR responsibilities including time and attendance, recruiting, employee relations, administrative reporting and employee functions
Responsibilities:
- Performs various operational duties required to administer and execute HR programs including compensation, performance management, recruitment and retention, training, and development such as:
- Serves as the first point of contact for employees
- Provides a wide range of employee relations support and participates in investigations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary/separation meetings
- Communicates and supports company policies and procedures.
- Maintains and updates HRIS system Paylocity
- Workers comp administration
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings: Develops and creates updated job descriptions and standards.
- Provides support for and coordinates recruitment efforts.
- Support and execute employee engagement events
Requirements
Requirements / Skills:
- Associates Degree.
- 5 Years experience of human resources experience within a diverse work environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
