Summary
The role is responsible for Change Management across Global Food globally, to ensure large Enterprise Projects are supported, as well as for the Bedrock Program, which is a significant business change program of work needing to be supported, spanning several years, outside of the OCM team that supports to the ‘technical’ Global Services team. This role focuses on change relating to large projects or programs, business processes, systems and technology, and organizational models and structures at a Global Food Enterprise or Regional level. The role will also provide portfolio governance for change management across the globe (visibility of all needs are diagnosed, planned and tracked); and be the hub of learning and methodologies for change management for Global Food and coordinate, coach, and lead others in the organization. This will require the incumbent to be connected into other OCM teams in the JR Simplot group to ensure synergy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and execute change management for large scale projects and programs of work, ensuring full coordination with project plans and clearly defining roles, dependencies, risk, and critical paths. Develop OCM project plans based on accurate understanding of the details of the change and groups being impacted by the change. Develop plans that deliver adoption, utilization, and proficiency with the change/transformation. This includes, but is not limited to, sponsorship roadmaps, readiness plans, communications plans, change network approach, training plan etc. Experience with PROSCI, and systems change methodologies preferred, to align with the JR Simplot Group and Global Food ways of working.
- Consult and advise project teams on OCM strategies and plans and help develop change capability within the Enterprise. Support the execution of plans by managers, business leaders and project team members. Coach and align leaders and managers in understanding, supporting and leading change; Provide direct support and coaching to enable our managers to help their direct reports through change.
- Extract insights from company strategy, broad-based survey data and communication feedback loop(s) to assess organization’s willingness and ability to adopt required change. Manage measurement systems to track change needs globally, and the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of change.
- Lead, coach, and build change capabilities across Global Food. Actively participate and engage with JR Simplot OCM teams through keeping abreast of best practices, actively participating in team development, and helping to establish consistent methodologies, processes, tools, and ways of working.
Typical Education
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
- 5+ years related experience and/or training
Required Certifications
- Prosci Certification (desirable); Systems Change Management methodologies (desirable); Strong understanding of adult learning theory and best practices
Other Information
- Excellent organizational, planning, coordination, and project management skills essential.
- Ability to work with all levels within an organization and possess strong executive presence and influence.
- Prior OCM experience required.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Previous experience as a HR Generalist desirable to bring a pragmatic, ‘can do’ approach and understanding of commercial business drivers and concepts.
- Ability to coach and train others in change management methodologies and set projects and programs of work up for success.
