We are looking for a HR Specialist Payroll and/or Time (m/f/d).

The position is limited to 2 years, working remote based in Germany is possible up to 100%.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The task is designed by the profile of the job holder. If focus is more on payroll, you can expect the following tasks:

  • Preparation of the monthly payroll of a defined payroll area in SAP and the associated master data maintenance
  • Ongoing tax and social security law assessment
  • Exchange and interface to the external billing service provider
  • Support of the employee life cycle from entry to exit
  • Personnel administration including maintenance of personnel files
  • Preparation of all documents for the monthly SOX checks and other quality assurance measures
  • Contact person for managers, employees and external bodies (e.g. health insurance companies and authorities)
  • Certification and evaluation of statistics/reports with SAP
  • Year-end work
  • Collaboration with local employee representatives and corporate international HR COE, Shared Services Units and local HR teams
  • Willingness to check and optimize HR processes and take over responsibilities in HR related projects as needed

If focus is more on time, you can expect the following tasks:

  • Preparation of the monthly time related activities which effects payroll in SAP and the associated master data maintenance
  • Contact person for managers, employees and external bodies (e.g. health insurance companies and authorities) on all aspects of time data processing, working time regulations and absence management
  • Implementation of administrative activities in the time management environment, such as the creation of employment contract supplements, certificates and standard reports combined with implementation and documentation in HR system
  • Create reports and documents (e.g. maternity and parental leave, vacation, time sheets, flexitime, absences)
  • Exchange and interface to the external billing service provider
  • Certification and evaluation of statistics/reports with SAP
  • Year-end work
  • Collaboration with local employee representatives and corporate international HR COE, Shared Services Units and local HR teams
  • Willingness to check and optimize HR processes and take over responsibilities in HR related projects as needed

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration with focus on human resources or commercial training with profund professional experience in a relevant HR environment
  • Work experience in an HR function in the context of payroll and/or time management
  • Knowledge of German labor, social security and wage tax law
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll related processes or time administration and absenteeism management including knowledge of the effects of these issues on payroll
  • Safe and routine user knowledge of SAP HR required, knowledge of Workday is also desirable
  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • German (spoken and written) on fluent and experienced level is must, fluent in English (written and spoken) is needed as well
  • High level of communication skills and persuasiveness in contact with internal and external contact persons
  • Structured way of working, accuracy and a high degree of initiative as well as flexibility and organizational skills
  • High degree of autonomy and resilience in prioritizing many competing priorities and very pronounced solution orientation
  • Willingness to get involved in a very committed and high-energy team that challenges the status quo and works every day to become even better than yesterday
  • Ideally experience in reviewing, adapting and documenting HR processes
