Position Details: 

  • This is a hybrid position with the expectation to work in the office 4 days per week 

  • Up to 10% travel required to other business locations 

  • Compensation: Up to $75,000 per year.

HR Business Analyst 

We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Business Analyst to support the design, execution, and administration of incentive compensation programs and people analytics. This role partners closely with the Manager, Pay Program Analytics to ensure accurate incentive calculations, compensation reporting, and workforce insights across sales, warehouse, and driver populations. 

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of compensation processes, delivering meaningful data insights, and supporting data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in workforce analytics, business intelligence, reporting, process improvement, and automation while partnering with leaders across HR, Compensation, Finance, Operations, and Technology. 

Responsibilities: 

Requirements Gathering & Analysis: 

  • Support the administration, analysis, and validation of incentive compensation programs, ensuring accurate calculations, payouts, and reporting.  

  • Analyze workforce, compensation, and operational data to identify trends, uncover insights, and support business recommendations.  

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reports that provide visibility into compensation programs, workforce metrics, and business performance.  

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, understand operational challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions.  

  • Support data quality, validation, reconciliation, and auditing activities across multiple HR, payroll, compensation, and operational systems.  

  • Help translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for business leaders and program stakeholders.  

  • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending opportunities to enhance accuracy, scalability, and user experience.  

  • Assist with the development and enhancement of reporting, analytics, and automation solutions using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, and SQL.  

  • Create and maintain process documentation, business requirements, reporting definitions, and standard operating procedures.  

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Compensation, Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.  

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by exploring new technologies, analytics capabilities, and automation opportunities.  

  • Develop technical and analytical skills through hands-on experience with workforce analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and process automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of experience in compensation administration, business analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.

Experience with UKG or similar HRIS/ERP systems preferred.

Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process automation opportunities to improve business efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail and accuracy.

Demonstrated experience building or supporting people and pay reporting and workforce analytics.

Experience in sales operations, warehouse, or driver incentive environments is a plus.

Experience integrating data from HR, payroll, finance, and operational systems.

Knowledge of HR, compensation, incentive pay, workforce analytics, or people data models.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear, concise, and impactful way.
