Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform floor care duties including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors

• Vacuum, shampoo, and maintain carpets and rugs

• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers

• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, stairways, and workspaces

• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning and setup

• Report maintenance or repair needs (e.g., lights, doors, fixtures)

• Maintain cleanliness of windows, elevators, and surrounding areas

• Assist with room setups and distribution of cleaning supplies

• Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment

  Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous floor care or custodial experience is a plus
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow instructions
  • Basic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
